Most of the fishing will be land based with excellent positions around the Hawkesbury River with options including:

Broken Bay Campsite wharf
Broken Bay river beach
Broken Bay break wall.
Juno Point rock fishing
Little Wobby
other beaches and reefs on the Hawkesbury River

The camp will also include sessions of fishing instruction from Dan Selby from Sydney Sports Fishing Adventures as well as instruction from Justin Duggins from Sydney FlyFishing Tours One session will be in a larger group at the start of the program and the guides will run small group fishing sessions from their commercially registered vessels, in near proximity to the campsite for most of the daylight times at the camp .

There may be some other activities (such as bush walking) however, the focus of this program in FISHING. Growing your knowledge and skills in all things fishing will have you hooking the big one in no time at all.

You don’t need to be an expert fisher, but you MUST have a strong passion for fishing! You will spend nearly all of the 4 days fishing and getting to the fishing spots.

The camp is based at Broken Bay Sport and Recreation Centre, Patonga, a beautiful part of the Hawkesbury River system.

Please note that this program is a customised program for NBCS, and while the school contributes the majority of funds towards it, due to the expensive nature of this particular program, and the fishing guides in particular, a $100 surcharge is necessary.
