The Photography program will again be held in Sydney in 2019. Students spend time in the City of Sydney transiting across town from beaches to the inner west, harbours to gardens.
“The Tourist” is the theme for this year’s program. Students will have the opportunity to get behind the lens and share their perspective on contemporary Australian lifestyles through the eyes of the tourist. They will be photographing architecture, urban landscapes, social hotspots, beaches, and some of the more well-known icons around the harbour.
This year the group will be spending time in the Adobe Offices in Sydney, where they will experience some training sessions in using Photoshop and LightRoom to manipulate and manage the photos they have taken so far on the camp. If time permits, the students will also get a tour of the Adobe Offices.
Accommodation is at a few locations, including:
As well as taking photos there will be plenty of time to enhance skills and knowledge through guest photographers, tours and gallery visits in the CBD.
This camp is for those students who wish to spend time in the city developing their photographic skills and working with a range of others with varying abilities. Learning from the staff and from each other, the time spent taking photos and sharing tips and techniques will help to improve the quality of photos.
